Park Place Singles is an organization formed from the personal philosophy that charity begins at home - in the hearts and minds of every individual. We believe that when you give freely of your time and resources to those who are less fortunate, you get back so much more! We don't force this philosophy on any of our members and these activities are totally voluntary. Park Place Singles simply provides multiple events and activities for your personal enjoyment - you choose those that fit with your interests and schedule.

It's fun and can be very enlightening to see other singles in different levels of social activity - whether that's playing in a sport; attending a social event; or just plain 'rolling up the sleeves' and helping on a charitable volunteer project. We are proud of the alliances we have formed in the local community and look forward to those we establish in the future.

Drives

CHOICES is one of the most comprehensive programs in the State of Ohio offering a wide range of services for victims and survivors of domestic violence, family members, friends, employers and professionals in central Ohio . With services ranging from shelter and hotline to counseling, education and advocacy, CHOICES is the researcher, creator and developer of local systems that help survivors and their children. The mission of CHOICES is to interrupt the cycle of domestic violence in this community and to advocate for social change.

The Mission of Material Assistance Providers, Inc. (M.A.P.) is to serve the community by providing a free furniture bank for families and individuals in need. "MAP provides free furniture and household goods to families moving from difficult situations which without help can be emotionally and financially overwhelming. Our work gives these families a better chance at establishing a permanent home."

Registration can be limited in these volunteer opportunities so make sure you sign up as soon as possible for those you are interested in!

Wine Tasting / Art Auction at Miranova benefiting Choices. Members, be sure to call or login to sign up for this fun volunteer event!

September 19
9 AM - 1 PM

Team up with other members and give a few hours of your day helping MAP get the furniture they distribute to the less fortunate ready for use. You'll be impressed by the organization and the huge warehouse of furniture that rotates in from the donors and back out to the recipients on a daily basis.

Park Place Singles is proud to announce our partnership with the U.S. Marines Corps Reserves for this year’s ‘Toys for Tots’ Kick-Off Party and Silent Auction. Get a great head start on the Holiday Season by joining us for this fun event on Thursday, November 11th from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. at Dave & Buster’s in Hilliard. Tickets are only $10 and once inside, you will get a $5 Dave & Buster’s Power Card and enjoy a nice selection of appetizers.

Due to the efforts of the Marines and the caring hearts of people like YOU, 2004 is guaranteed to be the best Toys for Tots toy drive ever!
